Hello,
I am an African American first time home buyer that just got approved for an FHA loan. I am seeking a grant with associated costs such as downpayment and closing costs. Anything helps, I really need something to call my own for my children and grandchildren stay when I have passed on. Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

Natasha Murry

The United States government does not provide government grants to help individuals on personal housing needs, such as downpayment and closing costs.

There are programs for people of low income called a first time homebuyer program. Call your local housing commissioner for

To: Housing Grant Adm
I am a disable senior citizen living in NJ in an apartment for years. My family and I decided it was time to move back down south due to my age and health to be closer to family. I got approved for a new construction development in Conway, SC. I am searching for grants for down payment and closing cost to help me with my first-time home buying purchase. I would like to apply for the housing assistance grants to see if I am eligible for these funds. Please send feedback to: dawsonc19@yahoo.com. Thank you.

My fiance and I need assistance to move out of a motel we've been stuck in for almost 2 years IN NYS. We are both 100$ disabled. My fiance is a Purple Heart recipient from Afghanistan and was a first responder at ground zero after 911. We need single family housing. It is a clear health issue to get out of here. Due to credit issues and paying $280/week we are trapped. I have a townhouse available to us in in KY. We need a short term assist to make this move. My fiancés PTSD and TBI are making it intolerable to live this way. The living conditions here are horrible and drugs are rampant. We have 1 room, 2 people, 3 cats. Please help us if possible. 10k would do it. We are desperate. Please reply to bacrn12@gmail.com. Thanks.

Our long-term goal is to start a nonprofit to help veterans who need housing security. Need to help ourselves get settled first. Please, any help or ideas appreciated. Also, I'm a woman and he is 100% American Indian. Don't know if that helps. bacrn12@gmail.com

Hello, My name is Brandi I am a single mother and a very recent victim of domestic violence. In fact I'm still struggling to find representation. On April 6th my husband myself my 18 month old daughter and our 2 dogs landed in Minot North Dakota on a vacation to introduce our daughter to her family members that she hadn't met due to my husband and I struggling and losing our business due to covid. We lost our home and our vehicles and ended up landing in Veteran Housing HUDVASH to be exact. Anyway my husband and I had an argument over his aggression towards myself and our daughter he violently took my baby stole my truck and fled to Montana where he abandoned my truck in one city and had someone pick him and my baby up to take him to another city. Since then I have struggled with many things but safe Housing was my main one since my husband decided that he was going to remove me from my lease in Arizona in fear that I wouldn't be afraid of his threats of not allowing me to see my baby and go back to AZ anyway. After my removal from my lease he never returned to our home and everything I owned was put in a city dumpster. I found a job building pole barns and my boss fired the person I was getting rides to work with and refused to pay me for almost 2 months then send me a check that was not the right amount. I am on disability so I get that check and have been blessed with a Home. This home is in desperate need of repair from broken windows, leaking water lines to the ceiling insulation and wiring hanging down no heating or cooling system and a plywood floor no locks for the doors and missing or broken items like kitchen sink toilet bathtub etc. It is a mobile home that has been built on over the years and it is located in a park where I pay a lot rent that covers water, sewer and trash. I am in contact with an advocates office from Arizona and they are ready to move forward with getting my daughter back to me but I need help getting this place safe for my daughter and definitely before winter. I can do the work I just have no tools as they were in Arizona and No supplies but I can be resourceful no vehicle because the impound lot owner decided he wanted to keep my truck for his personal business truck and after my rent is paid only about $300 left over which would be needed for diapers, dog food, and winter clothes furnishing and the necessary linens. I am trying to stay positive but everyday it seems like things are getting more difficult to figure out. My daughter is Native American from the Little Shell Tribe I am Spanish have no family as I grew up in foster care and orphanages but I have a degree in Early Childhood business and administration. I am a survivor of child trafficking and torture and desperately want to reach children who have experienced way too much. If there are opportunities I would love it if someone were able to walk me through the paperwork as I am currently drowning in court documents and police reports and civil stuff. I am doing all I can to keep my eyes fixed on getting my baby home safe keeping my dogs healthy and happy-ish and trying to remember if I ate today. Any and ALL HELP or suggestions are WHOLE HEARTEDLY WELCOME. Thank you in advance. my email is brandidjarvis.com and my number is 928-450-9960. I will not give vital information out over the phone without first having the opportunity to verify your agency and your role in that agency independently. It would be great if I could visit a local office here in Minot preferably though.

I need to clarify to my request above, I own the home. I received the title from the previous owner 2 days ago and seen the house about 3 days before that. The home is on a rented lot in a mobile home park. I can not move the home as it has been added to over the years. The property owners do not mind if I modify the land as long as it is an improvement and doesn't distract or bother my neighbors.
