You have instructions? I had a few questions. For instance, I am not sure what to enter for the weight.

Hi Philip,

The weight can be any numeric number, which is used to determine the percentage each redirection will receive for the same geographic targeting; the value entered will make a difference only if you have more than one redirection targeting the same geographic location.

For example, if you just have one redirection for All Cities in California, United States, then any of the value represents 100% of the traffic.

However, if you have 3 redirection URLs for All Cities in California, United States, and if you have the following weight for each as follows:

Redirection URL 1: 5
Redirection URL 2: 5
Redirection URL 3: 10

Then:

Redirection URL 1 will receive 25% of the traffic from All Cities in California, United States - Percentage derived from 5 divided by 20 (5+5+10)
Redirection URL 2 will receive 25% of the traffic from All Cities in California, United States - Percentage derived from 5 divided by 20 (5+5+10)
Redirection URL 3 will receive 50% of the traffic from All Cities in California, United States - Percentage derived from 10 divided by 20 (5+5+10)

Which means if you enter the following values, the result will be completely the same:

Redirection URL 1: 1
Redirection URL 2: 1
Redirection URL 3: 2

Redirection URL 1: 3
Redirection URL 2: 3
Redirection URL 3: 6

Redirection URL 1: 25
Redirection URL 2: 25
Redirection URL 3: 50

...etc.

Let us know if you have other questions.
